• The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will provide a practical walk around the farm giving educational advice regarding fire prevention and an opportunity to complete a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Rural Risk Form. • NFU Mutual Risk Management Services help farmers to effectively manage their health and safety issues. At the event they will help you to identify, manage and reduce all levels of risk – making your farm a safer environment for everyone.

• SP Energy Networks owns and operates the electricity power lines and cables in the Dumfries area. During the walk, they plan to give advice to help the farming community stay safe whilst working in the vicinity of overhead and underground cables.
